When a guard reports an incident in the mobile app, QRPatrol can send an SMS or an email to the people you list here, such as a supervisor or a client contact. You choose which severity levels each person hears about. Messages are paid from prepaid notification credits.
To open the page, click the bell in the top bar, then View all notifications, then Notification settings. Or go straight to Notification Settings.
Add a recipient
- Click Add Recipient.
- Under Notification Type, choose Email or SMS.
- Enter the Email Address, or for SMS the Phone Number. Write phone numbers in international format with a plus and the country code, for example
+38970123456. - Optionally add the person's name.
- Under Notify For Severity Levels, tick the levels this person should get. Critical and High are ticked for you.
- Click Add Recipient.
The recipient appears under Notification Recipients with a badge for each severity level they get.
Test, pause or remove a recipient
Each recipient has three buttons:
- Test sends a test SMS or email, so you can check the number or address works.
- Disable pauses the recipient without deleting them. They are marked Inactive and get nothing until you click Enable.
- Delete removes the recipient after you confirm.
Notification credits
The cards at the top show your Current Balance, the Usage This Month and how many active recipients you have under Recipients Configured.
Every message costs credits:
- SMS: $0.05 to $0.09 per message, depending on the country.
- Email: $0.001 per message.
When the balance can't cover a message, that message isn't sent and shows as Failed in the history. The balance turns red when it drops below $10.
Buy credits
- Click Purchase Credits.
- Enter an amount between $5 and $1,000 in Amount to Purchase (USD).
- Click Continue to Checkout and pay on the Stripe page.
After the payment, Stripe sends you back to this page and the credits are added to your balance.
Notification History
The table at the bottom lists every message sent, with its date, channel, recipient, incident number, status and cost. It opens on the last 30 days. Narrow it down with From Date, To Date, Channel and Status.
