The live map puts your active patrol cars, open incidents and buildings on one map. It refreshes twice a second, so you can leave it open in the control room and see new incidents as they come in.
Open the map
- Click Live Map in the sidebar.
- Use the Map Filters panel in the top left to choose what to show:
- Show Patrol Cars: cars on an active patrol, at their last GPS position. The number shows how many.
- Show Incidents: the latest incidents. The number shows how many.
- Show Checkpoints: your checkpoints. This one is off when you open the map.
- Under Incident Status, pick which incidents to see. All Statuses shows every incident that is not resolved.
The Legend explains the markers.
Foot patrols are not on the map
Only patrols that use a patrol car appear here. To see every patrol that is running, including guards on foot, open Active Patrols.
When a new incident comes in
A notification pops up on the map and a sound plays. Click the notification to zoom to the incident.
Your browser may block the sound until you have clicked somewhere on the page once.
Check and resolve an incident
- Click an incident marker. A popup shows its title, severity, type and building.
- Click the button in the popup to open the full details: the description, location, who reported it and any photos.
- If it is dealt with, click Mark as Resolved and confirm with Mark as Resolved again.
The incident is marked as resolved and disappears from the map, unless you chose Resolved under Incident Status. To assign the incident or add more detail, open it from Incidents instead. See Handle incidents.
Click a patrol car to see the car, its plate, the guard and the building, with the time of its last position.
