QRPatrol tracks guard patrols at the sites you protect. Guards scan QR codes with the mobile app as they walk their route, and you see every scan, missed checkpoint and incident in the web app.
The building blocks
| What | What it is |
|---|---|
| Buildings | A site you protect: an office, a warehouse, a residential complex. Everything else belongs to a building. |
| Checkpoints | A spot inside a building that guards must visit. Each one has its own QR code to print and stick on the wall. |
| Routes | The checkpoints a guard visits on a patrol, in order. |
| Guards | Your security staff. Each guard signs in to the mobile app with their own account. |
| Shifts | When a guard works at a building. |
Set up in this order
Each step uses what the step before it created, so this order saves you going back.
- Add your buildings. See Add a building.
- Add checkpoints to each building and print their QR codes.
- Create a route for each building from those checkpoints.
- Add your guards and give them access to the mobile app.
- Schedule shifts so each guard knows where and when to patrol.
Start with one building
Set up a single building end to end and run a test patrol yourself before adding the rest. It is the quickest way to see how scans show up in the app.
