Add each vehicle your guards use for mobile patrols. Once a car exists you can give it to a shift, and while a guard is on a patrol with it, the car shows up on the Live Map.
Add a patrol car
- In the sidebar, open Patrols and click Add Vehicle.
- Under Basic Information, enter a Name and a Vehicle Number, for example
Car 3andPC-03. Both are required, and the vehicle number must be unique. - Pick the Make, then the Model. Add the Year, Color, License Plate and VIN if you want them on record.
- Fill in the other sections if you need them:
- GPS & Tracking: the GPS Device ID and GPS Device IMEI of a tracker fitted to the car.
- Service & Maintenance: the Last Service Date, Next Service Date and Current Mileage.
- Insurance Information: the Insurance Provider, Policy Number and Insurance Expiry Date.
- Under Status & Notes, check the Status and keep Active ticked.
- Click Create Patrol Car.
The car is added to Patrol Cars. To send it out, pick it as the Patrol Car when you schedule a shift.
If the form says you have reached the maximum number of patrol cars, your plan's limit is full. Upgrade under Billing to add more.
